This page will help you create a setup file to configure your American Well 750 Telemedicine Cart. After filling out the form, click the 'Download' button, and save the file to the root drive on a USB flash drive. To load the configuration on the cart, insert it into the left side of the 750 console (next to the gear icon).
Note: To keep your credentials secure, you should delete this file after you are finished configuring your carts or store it in a secure location.
To verify you are running the latest firmware, press and hold the Home and Aux buttons (top left and top right) for 3 seconds. Compare the 'CA750 version' to the current version found here:
Single-client (SC) mode: This will activate two wireless radios — one for the codec and one for the cart’s control module.
Work Group Bridge (WGB) mode: This will activate one wireless radio - the network connection will be shared with the codec, control module, and a connected PC. This option may require that "Passive-Client" (Cisco), or similar, be enabled on the network.
The difference between WGB and SC modes is that WGB allows multiple devices to connect via a single Wi-Fi radio.
*Please note, if you have a mixed-mode (WPA1 and WPA2) network, the cart Wi-Fi must be configured in "WPA-TKIP/AES" mode to connect to it.
American Well recommends using WPA2 with AES for the most secure and stable connection.
If you want to use different credentials for the codec and the cart’s control module, uncheck the box below to provide the credentials for the codec:
This will disable the cart's wireless network modules entirely and should only be used at American Well's suggestion.
Ensure that the file is saved as 'CA750CONFIG.txt' and that the flash drive is formatted as FAT or FAT32.
Please take a moment to register your cart. Registration will ensure we have the proper information to best provide product updates and support in accordance with the FDA:
